It's possible to backup your data directly using postgresql (using for example pgadmin) or commad line. After you can restore datas usang the same way

unless I am mistaken, a simple backup does not transfer data and OpenERP function from one computer to another. In any case, I have not been able to transfert my openERP to another computer.

Of course I hace installed openERP to destination computer before restore the BDD...

When I restore on the new computer, there was an error :

XmlHttpRequestError INTERNAL SERVER ERROR

Help...

• Copy the entire addons/ directory from the old machine and replace it in your new computer's OpenERP installation base.
• Restart the server
• Backup the database and restore it in the new computer
