I am in a freight company. I want my customers to be regularly informed of the progress of their packages.

In the project application, I have created several steps (new/in progress/completed).

I want my agents to regularly fill out a package tracking sheet that includes the following information:

Date

Description

Comment

All this information must be sent by email to the customer.

My question is:

Should I create a new data model?

How can I automatically send an email to my customer depending on the stage of the project?
