I run a small manufacturing business, and we’re currently expanding a bit and starting to implement an accounting/inventory system from scratch.
At the moment, everything is tracked in Excel — we’ve built a set of connected sheets with formulas that depend on each other (for materials, expenses, production, etc.).
I have a few questions:
- Is it possible to migrate such a spreadsheet into Odoo, and will it work correctly there?
- I’d like to add barcoding, and also set up automatic creation of material write-off and reservation documents (for cases when material is already allocated for production but not yet consumed).
- Where is the best place to find freelancers for this kind of setup, and what’s the usual price range for Odoo specialists? For example request like a this one.
- Can Odoo inventory be synchronized with QuickBooks accounting?
- Is it possible to automatically generate material purchase orders in Odoo based on current stock levels?
