Which account need to give stock valuation field in product category creation?

Question

In product category creation form one field is there "Stock Valuation Account". what account i have to give to this field. I don't have that much knowledge on accounting. In my point of view, i want to give "opening stock" account. Please correct me if i am wrong.

Hi,

Stock Valuation account is the Inventory Account. This account will be used for accounting entries for Incoming Shipments and Internal Moves. If you need a detailed view on accounting, you can go through this : http://ursainfosystems.com/homesite/webinar/
