Dear Community,


I have been an enthusiastic user of Odoo for a few days now. However, I am facing a problem for which we as a team have not yet found a solution: When we send @mentions to each other, we can't find them again once we've viewed them. They no longer appear in the notifications.


The following scenario: My colleague creates an offer and leaves a note with an @mention to me in which she asks me a question about the offer. I then receive a one-off notification, but if I don't edit it directly, I can't find it again later (unless I specifically go to the quote in question and look it up).


Is there a place where all notifications are permanently displayed clearly? or another solution to my problem?


I hope I have described my problem clearly. If not, I will be happy to explain it in more detail!

Thanks a lot for the quick response Lars! Ok, that makes sense, so @mentions and direct messages are more for sharing notes/not so important pieces of information. And if I want my colleague to answer a question or perform a certain action, I have to generate an activity, right?

In the discuss app you have History, were you will also find messages you have read. If there is something you are supposed to do, use Activity instead of a message. It will stay in the icon (like a small clock) on top of your screen, until you have set the activity to Done.

Be also aware of what you can do with Followers on orders. You can set what messages a follower get.  If you want to follow the progress on a sales order, you can get message to you about this.
