In the free plan, can still make companies and accounting data seems to stay separated when created. What are the limitations?

As far as I know, multi-company should be the same in Enterprise and Community, but the accounting functionality is much more basic in Community. Other apps or features are not available in the Community Edition - there's a summary comparison here.
