We are planning to use odoo for our company's accounting. We've installed odoo via the official docker container into kubernetes. We use istio as our ingress layer instead of nginx. However, for some reason all our static files are being redirected by odoo to http, even though the page is loaded over https.

Please make sure that you have added the following parameter in your odoo.conf file,
proxy_mode = True
Now, Restart the container and check.
