I was wanting to modify the default A/R and A/P accounts when creating new contacts (res.partner). After researching this, it appeared the best way to accomplish this was through Company Parameters. I created parameters for this accordingly. It was not successful because the parameters set by Odoo were already there in Company Parameters and likely were "running" before my new parameters due to the difference in sequences. After realizing this, I just made the modification to the original parameters set by Odoo and it worked fine. 


I thought I should go back to Company Parameters and archive or delete the ones I created since they were not necessary anymore. However, I am unable to do this. The only action available in Company Parameters is Export. It seems like you should be able to somehow remove something like this. Is there a way to do this? I am on version 16.

Hi,

You can enable the super user mode and then delete the records from company parameter, once done, logout and login back to system to exist the super user mode.
