Time Display on Chatter - Odoo 17

Question

Hi All,

By default on Odoo 17, the time displays on the chatter works backwards like this:
"2 minutes ago"
"14 days ago"

We think it's more helpful for us to know exactly what time on which date the messages have been sent, for example: "26/09/2024 09:45:03"

Is there a setting or app to change this or will it require customisation/code change?

Hello Christian Phan,

If you need to know the exact time for certain purposes, you can hover over the relative timestamps (like "2 minutes ago" or "14 days ago") to see the precise date and time of the message, as shown in the image.

Currently, there is no setting available to change this format directly. Customization on the code side would be necessary to implement your desired changes. Alternatively, you could also check the Odoo App Store for any modules that might provide this
