No backorder popup when trying to validate transfers

Question

I am running odoo 14 enterprise and am facing the issue that since a few weeks the system is not asking for backorders anymore when trying to validate a partially completed transfer. When clicking "validate", nothing happens, no popup, no error and the transfer does not change state. Previously backorders worked just fine, however i cannot trace when exactly the issue started appearing and what could have caused the issue.

You should post odoo log as clicking on 'Validate' button should execute python function associated with that button.
Not recommend but if you can access codes, make sure 'Validate' function is executing by adding print statement in that function and see log for the output.
