In normal e-commerce systems, uploaded product images are stored in different sizes for better performance. I've programmed a gallery for my shop that loads a big sized image for zooming in via AJAX.

Now I am going to use the built in e-commerce app of Odoo for a B2B only shop, but nevertheless I'd love to make that more performant as well, with separate thumbnails and dynamically loading images.

The only solution I'd come up with is to upload all those images, in converted sizes, to in a separate folder and then change the theme.

Does anyone got a better idea?
