Hi, I have created a new journal item type: Bill. This therefore sets the A/c Payable account as the default expense account. Is their any way I can change this to any other account I like? I am using both Odoo Online and Community version 16.

Hi,
In Odoo, We can change the default expense account of
Vendor bill journal. We can add any other account but the type must be
'expense'.

Hello Midhun, sorry if I was not clear enough, I created a new journal say New Journal (Type: Bill as in journal type same as for Vendor bills). Choosing this type the default settling for the Credit entry is Accounts Payable account by default. My question was, I wanted to be able to change this default account (Accounts Payable to any other account of my choice!!!). I was looking for a solution for both Odoo Online and Community Versions 16.
