Hello,

I'm facing an issue with inventory management in Odoo and would greatly appreciate some help from you guys.

Here's a brief overview of the problem:

  1. I have a parent location (MWF) where Product Y is stored.
  2. I transfer 500 units of Product Y to another source location, which is a shop (BlueBay).
  3. In the inventory, all the transfers are correctly shown, and the stock seems to be accounted for in the destination location (the shop).

However, when I create a sales order from the sales app and proceed with delivery, selecting the source location as the shop BlueBay (rather than the parent location), and validate the delivery, I notice that the inventory for the specific shop location is not being deducted. Instead, it is the inventory of the parent location that is being decreased. I am also getting a warning as shown in screenshot below and I have also shown the source location.

I'm confuse by this behavior and would like to understand why it's happening. Is there a particular setting that needs to be configured to ensure that inventory is deducted from the correct location when making sales from a specific location?

If anyone in the community has encountered a similar issue or has expertise in inventory management settings in Odoo, I would greatly appreciate your assistance in resolving this matter.

Thank you for your time and support.
