Hello Odoo community,

I work for a wholesale textile company that deals in a variety of products, including hand-knitting yarns, lingerie, and hosiery, each with numerous variants such as color and size. Our clients comprises retailers who purchase our products either in bulk or wholesale packages, catering to end-users across different regions and cities.

As a dealer or distributor for certain brands, we are granted the authority to sell them in specific regions. So, when customer adds an address on B2B platform, for some regions, the inventory should become zero or unavailable. Beside that, let me elaborate on another aspect of our operations: we have different sale campaigns that are implemented on our existing on-premise ERP. One of them is our "loyal customer" discount mechanism. This initiative offers discounts on bulk orders based on a customer's total purchase history with us. Leveraging SQL procedures within our ERP, we have the capability to customize these mechanisms as per our requirements.

Now, we are keen to leverage Odoo to establish a B2B platform for both our existing and potential customers. Our primary inquiry pertains to the feasibility of implementing location-based inventory levels and customer-specific discounts within the Odoo framework. We aim to tailor our offerings based on geographical regions and individual customer profiles, enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of our sales operations.

Furthermore, we are interested in exploring the possibility of implementing a sales ban feature. This would allow us to restrict access to our products or make inventory unavailable for customers who have become insolvent or pose a risk to our business. Whether it involves banning their accounts, limiting product visibility, or adjusting inventory accessibility, we seek insights into how such functionality can be integrated into our Odoo B2B platform.

While we understand that Odoo's capabilities may not align perfectly with our exact requirements, we are hopeful that the platform offers avenues for customization and integration to meet our business needs effectively.

Now, moving forward, considering our existing infrastructure with a REST API and my proficiency in SQL, Python, and API integrations, I'm curious: Can we implement features such as location-based inventory levels, customer-based discounts, and sales bans in Odoo, either using its native capabilities or through external API integrations?

Thank you in advance for any guidance or suggestions you can provide. Your expertise and insights are highly valued.

Warm regards, Özcan
