I enable the 'sales receipt' button in accounting configuration, however, the 'receipt' button is not appear under customer.

First enable 'Sales Receivable' from the configuration settings:
1. Accounting- >Configuration -> Customer Invoice -> Sale Receipt
In Odoo 16.0, 17.0 and 18.0 you can see the Receipts Menu within the Customers menu.
In more recent online versions and Odoo 19.0, there is a radio button instead (no new Menu) and you use the Customer Invoices Menu:

I'm experiencing exactly the same thing. I turned on the "Sales Receipt' button in Settings, but the "Receipts" is not showing in the Customer menu. I'm evaluating if Odoo is a good fit for us, and if it doesn't give us a Sales Receipt option, we'd rather forgo it.
In later versions of Odoo, there is no separate Menu - you just use the Invoices Menu and there is a radio button to switch between Invoice and Receipt. I have edited the answer from Cybrosys to show this option.

"sales receipt" is not a question. A question is a substantial phrase that ends with "?"
We get close to 1,000 posts a month and not everyone will open a post to find out what your question is.
I have edited your post to make the title a question.
In the future, please consider (1) using a Question that makes it clear what you ask without requiring people to open your post and (2) adding Tags. This will often increase the chances people will respond and also make everything clearer for others who may come along later searching for the same thing.
Failing that, you can paste your future posts into an AI Chatbot and ask it to "please generate a question of no more than 16 words that summarizes what I am asking" and use that as your question.
