How to move products from Virtual Locations/Inventory adjustment to actual locations?

Question

If I click on a specific product I want to see the exact location of this product, after trying different things I only see:
Virtual Locations/Inventory adjustment

I have imported my products via an excelsheet, under locations I do see the exact location of the products. Any idea how to fix this?

Inventory in "Virtual" locations is not real. It's because Odoo adopts a "double entry" concept, so when you do an inventory adjustment it will reduce (or increase) the stock in Virtual Locations/Inventory adjustment and increase (or reduce) the stock in WH/Stock or wherever. These "virtual" locations are normally hidden from reports because there's no real need to see what is there.

Hello,
When you import stock or use “Update Quantity” directly, Odoo stores the inventory in the *Inventory Adjustment virtual location*.

If you don’t assign a real location during import or inventory adjustment, it never gets moved.

Solution: Transfer Stock from Inventory Adjustment to Real Location Create an Inventory Adjustment
Go to *Inventory → Operations → Inventory Adjustments*

Create a new Inventory Adjustment:

Set *Inventory Location* to your actual location (e.g., WH/Stock/Shelf A1
