how could I modify the requested quantity "product_uom_qty" of a delivery note with an automated action?

but I want to modify the quantity with an automated action (the new value will be calculated).
in Sales Order, if you increase the Quantity in the Sale order Status, and if the Delivery is in ready or draft State then qty will increase change, but in case of Decrease it will not decrease in Draft or Ready State, you have to force close by cancelling of Back order.

Its based on Invoice Policy, if Policy is on Delivery Bases, you can increase done qty in Delivery, Invoice will generate as per Delivery.
