I can import invoices as Excel list, under Customer / Invoice / Import.
But how to import refunds / credit notes as an Excel file?
Refunds not only reverse (all) positions of an invoice. Credit notes will also be displayed as "credit note", not as "invoice". So how to import credit notes, which are shown as such ones.
I use Odoo 18 online in germany.
After days of trying and searching for a solution, i found it as answer to an other question here: https://www.odoo.com/de_DE/forum/hilfe-1/set-move-type-on-import-account-moves-222403
The solution is simple: Split the file into invoices and credit notes
Import the invoices in the menue customers / invoices
Import the credit note in the menue customer / credit notes
So there is no special field necessary, to say odoo that this is a credit note.
I was simply blind. all the time I have not seen, that there is a seperated menue available for credit notes. I all the time thought credit notes are reversed invoices, so i have tried to import them in the invoice menue, which not worked.
In Developer Mode you can see that the Window Action tied to each Menu sets the value of the "move_type" field to "out_invoice" (Invoice) or "out_refund" (Credit) but your solution is also just fine.

Where do i find this? If i click on Customers/Credit Notes i see the list. then i click on the bug icon. i choose "User Interface / Action". The page i get then starts with "Action Name: Credit Notes". But on this page there is no "move_type" field with a value. So i guess i'm on the wrong page. So where can i see the " Window Action tied to each Menue"?
