Hello there,
I'd like to know what is the proper way to change the whole chart of accounts and import a new one in Odoo 10
thanks in advance.
P.s. we are using Enterprise version

Hi,
In Odoo version 10 in the acco8nting app click on Adviser->chart of accounts->click on the box on left hand side for those chart of accounts for which u want to delete it then click on action->delete it.
Secondly, to import your new set of chart of accounts in csv or excel file u have the option next to create button click on it then import the file.

If i am importing new chart of accounts excel or csv file, does ODOO 10 will replace the existing list of accounts ? or it will add new accounts (which are imported through file).

Hi Ahmed, when you use the import feature of Odoo, it adds the new imported data to Odoo. You won't lose the existing data. If you want to replace the existing data, you have to delete them manually.
