Have kit items show as components in invoice

Question

Products typed as kits in the quotation and sales order, automatically show as components in the delivery orders.

How can we also have kits shown as components in the invoice?

This would significantly simplify credit memos, when components of the kit item are returned instead of the entire kit.

Use case would be if a client purchased a kit item table consisting of)

-One table top
-Four legs

I'm looking for the opposite option.
I mean the invoice only with the kit shown (without the components) and the same for the dispatch order.
Is there any way to do that? Or it will require a development?

Odoo allows for some flexibility in product configurations, but by default, the kit product is shown as a single line item on invoices. There isn't a built-in configuration to automatically split the kit into its components on the invoice.

To achieve this functionality, custom development is required
