After the customer has paid the sellable course, after payment, he is redirected to the confirmation page(\https://www.mywebsite/shop/confirmation),
...but he gets no informationthere and no email to be redirected to the page to attend the online course !!!
The customer should (after payment) get a link on the confirmation page and an email to be able to attend the online course.

I can't believe that this seems to be standard... Just finished my course and wanted to publish it.
Odoo is constantly overhyping it's product. I watched hours of official videos. Everything is super easy and awesome. But some seriously basic stuff is just missing...

We need someone to make a module that forces login for the elearning product and then redirects to the product to continue purchase so that they are logged in and then are granted access, Maybe override the Thank you page to go to the My courses section of the Elearn page.
this is what i got from Odoo Support:
Within the standard functionality of Odoo, it is not possible to restrict the visibility of the "Add to Cart" button to only logged-in users. It may be possible to achieve this functionality via customization. Is there a way that we can force them to login to purchase this product? I cant do a manual merge everytime i have a client purchase a course,

Hello,
Thank you for contacting Odoo support. First, I would like to apologize for this late response. Due to the increased number of support requests, we are currently facing a longer delay than usual in our response time. Please know that we are doing our best to catch up with the delay.
In order to grant clients access to the courses they purchased while not logged in, you will need to merge the contact records for the portal user and for the user on the sales records. Once merged, the portal user account will have access to the courses they purchased while not logged in.
Linked below is a video I recorded in a demo testing environment to help walk you through the steps needed to merge the accounts:

To merge the contacts, search for the user's name or email address, switch to list view, select the records to be merged, and then select "Merge" from the Action menu.

I just talked to the client and she confirmed that she was not logged in when she purchased the course, so the error must be when you create a login after purchase, however the email she used in purchase should link to the login?

Same problem. Can't find a fix for this anywhere. Nothing changed ? No sollution?

Steps to reproduce:
Create a course
Go to the "options" tab
Under "Access Rights" choose "On payment" as "Enroll Policy"
Set the product field below (choose or create a product for this course so that this course can be sold)
Go to the course page on the website (make sure that you're not logged in)
Buy the course by stepping through the checkout process
At the end you will only see the following screen:

Current behavior:
After the checkout the customer is forwarded to the "Thank you" page (from above) and gets an order confirmation email. But he has no option to watch the course.
Expected behavior:
Grant course customers portal access and send them a customized version of the portal access invitation email that welcomes them to the recently bought course.
This only applies to first-time customers.
