Does odoo 8.0 Web Customized Module works in odoo 9 Community edition ?
I had some small module for 8.0 now want to use for 9.0. Does it direct work ?

I had investigate in details, In odoo 8.0 stable and have different framework then odoo 9.0.
Odoo 9.0 had new code and architecture bit more new one.
Not straight forward can't use any module of 8.0 to 9.0 for web enable features.
Odoo 8.0 had different concept for web framework, where 9.0 id bit different, yes, 9.0 enterprise version paid. Odoo since born as tinyerp till date documentation very poor. So migration of module for web difficult. Also can't direct us theme. Because new version had qweb code blocks are different too.
NO WAY ODOO 8.0 WEB MODULE ACCESIBLE IN 9.0, AS ALWAYS BIG COST TO NEW VERSION MIGRATION.
ITS BETTER TO USE FULL VERSION OF 8.0 THEN 9.0 WITH VERY BAD USABILITY ISSUES.
You need to install it in 9.0 and test it. It is possible that some method or some view id have been modified in v9.

Looking to migrate javascript based module to 9.0, but I think its better to use version 8.0. Version 9.0 had less features, they removed lot better things. also bad usability. only odoo paid version might ok, but even hell to migrate all theme.
