Automatically apply promotions in salesorder

Question

Is there a way in Odoo 17 to automatically apply Discount & Loyalty rules in sales orders?
Userstory:
As salesperson I want Odoo 17 to automatically apply the discount when I add a product containing a discount into an salesorder.
Usercase:
My customer has bought product X which has a discount through the Discount & Loyalty module, I have selected product X and via Promotions the discount is automatically added without me having to click any buttons.

Hi,
In Odoo 17, you can set up automatic discounts using the Discount & Loyalty module, but it requires the Promotion Rules to be configured correctly so they apply automatically when a product is added to a sales order

Hi Alex, no we haven't figured it out yet. We've asked our implementation partner for a solution but we've decided to stick with applying the promotions by hand.
