Scenario:


I have two identical events, Event 1 and Event 2, that are different times on same day.  Someone registers for Event 1, but later realizes they want to attend Event 2.  The registration is complete and event paid.

Is it possible to simply change the event from Event 1 to Event 2 on the back end without the attended having to register for Event 2 and we refund Event 1?

By default, this is not possible, as you can't change the Event on the Attendee profile.

The best solution is to cancel the registration, refund the ticket, and ask for another registration for the second event. 
This way you keep your accounting clean.

Alternatively, you can manually register the attendee information on the second event, Ticket Sales will mark this as a "FREE" ticket. 
Send the ticket information back by email / SMS.
