Automatically set item destination location based on the current product locations

Hello there.

I'm using Odoo 18. For Receipts, I'm trying to automatically set an item's destination (field 'location_dest_id' I believe) based on where items of that product are already located in stock. For example, if there are already M5 screws in Rack 32 and I have some more M5 screws coming in, Odoo should set their destination location to Rack 32 when I set the order as To Do.
Is this already implemented or would I have to customize the module? If that's the case, what would be the best w

What you describe is part of Odoo's /Putaway Rules/. Setting up such a rule, you can define /Goods/ or /Categories of Goods/ to be stored in a /Sublocation/ 'Last Used' (which by nature means a location another, same item is (or has been) stored already).
Navigate to a /Product/'s or a /Product Category/'s form view and hit the /Putaway Rules/ smart button on top of that view. In there you can define rules for the arriving location and where to store them finally:
