Tags/Status of serial numbers

I have a situation when I'm receiving. I use the scanner to receive and when i do that i want to set a status of the serial I receive, my status will be "DEFECTIVE" or "GOOD"
I can create 2 receiving locations and name them MAIN/DEFECTIVE/RECEIVING, MAIN/GOOD/RECEIVING
At this point i want to start receiving to DEFECTIVE location, lets say 6 item (=6 serial number) and when hit apply somehow i want these serial numbers to be tagged as DEFECTIVE.

How can this be done with automated actions

You can create a new field in your scanner which will allow you to select the status for each serial number. Then when you hit "Apply" the serial numbers will be updated with the selected status.
