This post (https://www.odoo.com/forum/help-1/advanced-cash-control-in-v14-185464) was closed as not having enough information, but it reads "...Advanced Cash Control is read only in Point of Sales ‣ Configuration ‣ Point of sale" which describes exactly what I am seeing, which is that in the POS configuration screen, the option to select Advanced Cash Control is greyed out and cannot be selected when editing the location.
