Error restoring database

Question

After restoring a database backup, the Odoo service freezes. Restarting the service or Linux isn't enough; I need to restore to a previous restore point. And the backup hasn't been restored. I'm working with a Debian 12 Linux virtual machine and Odoo Community 19. Thanks.

Hi I made a backup and once it was downloaded, I tried to restore it, but I got that error. Could something have been installed incorrectly?

Hi Jaime,
Your problem is most likely caused by an incomplete restore, PostgreSQL mismatch, missing filestore, or missing custom modules. The safest fix is to restore from Linux terminal with matching PostgreSQL/Odoo versions and restore the filestore too.
