I have just downloaded the community version of odoo 13. I am not able to get the home UI in odoo 13 upon clicking on the menu icon on the top left corner.
It is only giving a drop downlist than a full desktop view.

i have the same issue with Odoo 17 Comunnity, but when i instally any extra theme i get the desktop.
Found the theme above, how is this added to odoo 13 Windows install? kinda surprised there no "load add on" inside odoo like there is with WordPress.
please advise.
UPDATE, the video link shown below is for linux, after watching a few videos what none of them tell you is the CUSTOM folder (or ANY other folder) has to be listed in the odoo.conf settings, so i just added the extracted theme folder to the real odoo addons location (C:\Program Files\Odoo 13.0\server\odoo\addons) then flipped on developer mode (settings) then Apps and updates Apps List, no odoo service needed to be restarted, then the new theme showed up in the apps list.
Issue is, this theme doesnt work as it depends on "web_responsive" which appears to be a known issue with this theme).
did what this video explains, did not work on the Windows install...

This view is for the odoo enterprise edition, if you need similar in community, install any of the similar theme modules available in odoo app store

Hi,
It will be nice if you can add some image to show what exactly you get now. In Odoo v13, once a database is created, you have to go to apps menu and install the modules. And you can access menu and form by clicking the top left (button)
