Belgorail

Belgorail is an inspection and certification body which was founded in June 2004 to cover the need for voluntary and regulatory certification in the rail sector.
From its creation, Belgorail has sought to meet the requirements imposed on rail system certification and inspection bodies at both national and international level. These requirements are those applicable to notified bodies, approved bodies operating in a national framework and product inspection and certification bodies.

In this regard Belgorail has ISO/IEC 17065 accreditation relating to requirements applicable to bodies certifying products and ISO/IEC 17020 accreditation relating to requirements applicable to bodies performing inspections
