when I export the english language file (en_US.po) and add the translation.
it doesn't seem to work,
while with other languages when adding translations still work normally.
only english language is not working.
I do not understand why.

Hi,
Importing translation back to the system having some limitations in odoo 16 and this is expected to sorted out in 17. If you believe this is a bug, you can report the same in odoo github.
