in the inventory settings I can add a new storage category with Max Weight. For e.g. :
Storage category: Shelf
Max Weight: 120 kg
Then I add a Location:
Location name: Store1
Parent location: Store Adders
...
Storage category: Shelf
I buy or transfer a product to the Store1/Store Address. I think, products weighing (or weight sum) more than 120 kg should not be placed on the shelf. Вut the program let store a product without any notification.
What does the field "Maximum weight" affect and how does it work?

I am interested in that solution, too! For us, the same problem occurs and I can just store every weight without any restriction. Did you figure something out?
