Hi,

I am an accountant.

My problem is with in the sale order/delivery forms. When I print the delivery slip it does not show me the customer name but only shows me the delivery address for that stock out (for almost all my customers). 

However, I have atleast identified 2 contacts who do show the customer name and the delivery address when I print their delivery slips. 


I am very confused and don't have a clue where to begin. We have odoo enterprise and the studio feature as well, which I dont know how to use.

I would check if the individual contacts have been associated with the appropriate company and the contact type is delivery address.

We don't show a separate Customer address if it is the same as the Delivery Address.

Hi, thanks for your help. I see what you are saying, but to be clearer, does that mean if there is no separate delivery address setup for any of the contacts, then in this case delivery slip would never show the customer contact details, but would only show if there is a delivery address and ONLY if its different to the main customer address?

Perhaps it we be easier for you to duplicate your database and test for yourself what happens in each case.

If there is no separate delivery address setup then we show the customer name and address on the right.

If there is a separate delivery address setup then we show the delivery name and address on the right and the customer name and address on the left.

We don't compare addresses. If you don't see anything on the left, it is because there is no separate Delivery address.
