Does Odoo allow same lot numbers for different items?

Yes! Lot nrs are not required to be unique at all; serial numbers only need to be unique within the item. But serial or lot 123 can be applied to any item of different id simultaneously.

We tried inputting lot for different item with same lot. We are receiving "This lot121212 is incompatible with this product"
