revert Account Reconciliation setting

Question

i am trying to remove Reconcile from a particular account and system giving me this error message,

Something went wrong !
You cannot switch an account to prevent the reconciliation if some partial reconciliations are still pending.

its around 30000 transactions, which i don't want to reconcile, is their a way around to change this account Reconciliation settings ?

Hello,
You have to Unreconcile the entries related to that particular account and then you can remove the Allow Reconciliation on that account.
1. Enable Debug Mode
2. Accounting-> Journal Items
3. Group by Account / Filter the required accounting entries
4. Select All or select  the  required  entries  and Action-> Unreconcile
5. Then go to the Account view and remove Allow Reconcilation
