Hello,

We have created a purchase order and received the items into our store. However, we have now determined that we no longer require these items. We wish to cancel both the store receipt and the purchase order. When attempting to delete the receipt, an error message appears stating that the goods have already been processed.

Could you please assist us with this issue?

Hello , 

IF you want to cancel the PO but receipt order is created. In that case you need to cancel the receipt order and after you need to cancel the PO order.

Odoo does not provide a built-in feature to fully cancel both the store receipt and the purchase order if items have already been processed and received into inventory. Once items are received and the on-hand stock is updated, the system prevents straightforward deletion of the receipt to maintain data integrity.

If you need this feature, it would require custom development. Specifically, if the receipt is canceled, you will need to ensure that the on-hand product quantities are adjusted accordingly. This ensures that the available stock reflects the cancellation properly, avoiding discrepancies in inventory tracking.
