i have a little problem with odoo 10. I am using the community version. In my country (Benin) the accounting standard stipulates that one must make accounting entries with negative values, whether debit or credit. However, I have noticed that in ODOO the credit or debit values can only be positive values. this is a problem for me because the structure must be able to have this possibility. I would like to know how I could proceed to allow Odoo to be able to accept that we can make accounting entries with negative values to debit or credit. how can I remove this constraint without upsetting the complete scheme of the erp. thank you kindly for giving us some ideas for resolutions.

This is a recurring issue in many countries and so far Odoo didn't provide a solution for this. I got some hints that the localization team may be working on this feature for v15, but this is not been confirmed yet. For v 10 I don't think you can expect this feature ever unless someone in the community has programmed an extension of the accounting module. I haven't seen one yet, so I would be very interested also.
