Environment: Odoo Version: 17.0 (Enterprise/Community), Module: POS

Business Requirement:

In a Retail Business the promotions, product pricing, no of POS Terminals for a chain of supermarket is dynamic or high. How does Odoo support if any of these master data like promotions, product prices, inventory change and the Retail Store wants real time data to be synched to all POS Terminals instead of refreshing the POS Terminals one-by-one.

Use Case:

A Retail store might have 1000 products, with 100s of promotions and 500 POS Terminals.  Also the POS terminals might be having Tablets instead of high-end PCs. In this case, if a new product gets added, promotion gets added/changed, price of products get changed, Real-Time inventory needs to be maintained to avoid negative inventory.  How does Odoo support all these changes to get reflected immediately to these 500 POS Terminals without refreshing these POS Terminals.

Questions:

1. Is there a online only option for POS Terminals, so that the POS hits the server for all features, instead of browser level cache.
