Can someone explain me how marketing campaigns works in odoo.

I am having trouble finding any documentation regarding this.

I need to understand the functional flow for marketing campaign.

Hello Onkar,

Basically Odoo has a module of CRM which manages the leads and its status.

When you make calls or if any client enquire for a project, Odoo maintains it as leads and it contains the customer details and the sales person details.

You can maintain the follow up of the leads and convert it to opportunities if you find any further scope. Also, you can maintain the reports for analysing and reviewing sales activity.

After converting it to an opportunity(which will be visible in the pipeline menu stage wise), you can further create a quotation as well. And lastly you can mark them lost or won.

hey jainesh, thank you for replying.

so basically all the calls that come to voip are termed as lead from customer.

but in certain cases we can have calls from vendors as well which we cannot put in leads so does odoo provide a feature where we can distinguish between calls as customer or vendor.
