Odoo’s Email Marketing module uses link tracking to monitor user engagement with email campaigns. This is why you see a redirect link (r/3XY/m/2190) instead of the original URL (https://schoolup.be/formations). The redirect link allows Odoo to track clicks and gather analytics.
Changing or Avoiding the Redirect Link
If you want to change or avoid the redirect link:
- Disable Link Tracking:
- Go to Email Marketing > Settings.
- Look for an option related to Link Tracking and disable it.
- Disabling this feature will prevent Odoo from altering the URL, allowing the button to link directly to your specified URL.
- Use an Untracked URL:
- In the email editor, try using an untracked URL by adding it as plain text or an HTML link instead of using the button widget, which might automatically apply tracking.
- Custom Module or Script:
- If you need tracking but want to customize the redirect URL, you may need to develop a custom module or script that overrides the default behavior.
