How do I deactivate INACTIVE companies in ODOO 13

Question

Hi there, I have some companies that I wish to be deactivated (not deleted).

There are no more transactions  or users and I do not wish for any users to accidentally perform any operations or transactions in the system and to lock it up for archive records retrieval only.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how this can be done?

Hi Mel:
You cannot archive a Company. However, if you remove the company from all the users' "Allowed Companies" field (except the Administrator), the users will not be able to access the company which in turn will prevent them from accidentally performing any operations or transactions in the system. You will still be able to access the records using the Administrator account, if required.
