I was able to see the following checkbox in the Settings App at version 14 and prior versions:




How do I  setup / activate Multi Currency support now since this checkbox is no longer available?


I need to support multiple currencies in my database.

We have been moving away from requiring  Users  to specifically activate features in favor of detecting  when  they  need  them  and  doing  it  automatically.

Examples at v14:

  • When  you  create your second Company, multi-Company support is activated for you.
  • When you create your second Warehouse, multi-Warehouse support is activated for you.

Examples at v15:

  • When you activate your second Currency, multi-Currency support is activated.


So there is no longer a checkbox or a need to specifically activate the feature!  (The Currency Menu is always available now, not just when the feature is activated).

Opting specific Users into and out of these features remains available in the Extra Rights section of the Access Rights tab on a User record.

Thanks but i would like to point that in the documentation of odoo 15 ,it shows a provision to enable multi currency .I am attaching the documentation link that i found.

Please do correct me if i am wrong

You are not wrong, we have not updated our Documentation. I have opened a ticket with our Documentation team to have this updated.
