Let me try another question for the readers on this forum:-) thanks in advance for any tips!! 

In the Sales app, I have set some date fields (quotation/order date, expected date, expiry date etc) to display as "date" instead of "date & time", by choosing this widget on that field via Odoo Studio in the back-end of a sales form. This works fine and for us, it is great to see that we can get rid of the exact time indication that was originally included in those fields. 

Also on the PDF report of Quotation/Sales Order, the date is displaed now without the time info. Perfect so far!!

However, when I fetch such a date field in an email template (e.g. order confirmation), it will still be displayed as date + time. I did use the placeholder generator in Email Templates to identify how to call the field. Does anybody know how I can easily change this - pls know that I am an Odoo user, but certainly not a developer ...;-)
