What is the right configuration in the Pos Payment Method for this? Odoo v8?

Do you mean that the customer is using Credit cards like Visa? I'm also searching information for this.
The Odoo website states this:
"Payment Methods
Cash, Cheques and Electronic Card payment methods are available. New types of payment methods can be added as well.
Electronic Cards
Credit Card and Electronic payments are handled by external payment terminals."
