Connecting Dots
We run Existanze #connectingdots on Odoo, as the core system the whole company works from. The full commercial cycle lives in one place: Sales and Purchase carry every client engagement and supplier relationship from quotation through to order and bill, Expenses keeps project and travel costs tied to the work that generated them, and Accounting closes the loop so revenue, cost, and cash sit in a single set of books. Inventory tracks the equipment and stock we hold, keeping what we own reconciled against what the books say we own.
The recurring side of the business runs on Subscriptions, where our retainers and managed services bill on a repeating cycle and renewals stay inside the system rather than in a spreadsheet beside it. Our people operations sit in the same place: HR holds the team and its records, Leaves manages time off and the approvals around it, and Appraisals runs the review cycle, all drawing on the same employee data the rest of the suite already uses. The everyday administration a services company accumulates lives there too, rather than scattered across separate tools.
Running the company this way shapes how we implement for our clients. Because we book our own sales, pay our own bills, close our own books, and manage our own people in Odoo every day, we meet the same questions and trade-offs our clients face before they ever raise them with us. That first-hand use is what lets us advise on what a business genuinely needs from the platform rather than what a feature list implies, and it is the difference between deploying software and knowing how it feels to run a company on it.
