I cannot make out the usage of 'Stock Journal' field in the menu items under 'Warehouse -> Receive/Deliver By Orders' (i.e. 'Incoming Shipments', 'Internal Moves', 'Delivery Orders').
In our environment, you can either leave the field blank or select 'Delivery Orders' (which I think comes by default by installing the warehouse module).
How does the selection affect anything? Is this even related to the Stock Journal as in accounting journal?
It may help structuring the different types of operations: picking, packing, delivery order. This allows to give lists of tasks to different workers, each worker is working in a journal. (you can filter on journals when opening the pickings).
I don't think it has others impact than structuring/grouping the different operations.
So, this journal is not at all an "accounting journal"; right or not?
