I have been able to install a third-party module following this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sRe1t4J8zA8&t=424s for my odoo 16 community edition
However, after I upgraded my community edition to enterprise I was not able to find third-party modules in the apps list even after I updated the apps list

Can you ensure that the custom path is not missed from your odoo configuration file ? Actually it depends on how to upgrade to enterprise, did you do the upgrade in the same server/instance or..
Just ensure from your side that the addons path to this custom module are still exists in your odoo conf file.

The add-ons path still exists in the oddo conf file.
Maybe the problem was that I deleted the instance that I upgraded to the enterprise
