Hello everyone!
We just recently started using Odoo and we would appreciate some help from the Odoo community with our initial configuration.

The main features we need help from Odoo software is the Inventory app.

Since now we kept track of our inventory manually, and at the moment we are trying to configurate the Inventory app from Odoo to help us with our stock management.


We are struggling to find our feet around this app, so if there is somewhere out there that have done this in the past and wouldn't mind to give us a few pointers, we would be really grateful.

A bit of context on our company ways of doing regarding the stock.

We have a warehouse where we receive and keep most of our stock. On top of that, we sell on Amazon and use Amazon fullfilment, so we also keep track of the stock that we regularly send to Amazon warehouses.


As already mentioned, any help is welcome, from a personal experience to an documentation article.

Hi,

Below are few initial steps you can start with after going through the docs and tutorials attached towards the end.

  1. Create your warehouse. goto Inventory > Warehouses.
  2. Create your products. goto Inventory > Products. Click Create and enter your product's name, description, and other details.
  3. Configure your Reordering  rules. this will help you in stock replenishment and order fulfillment. goto Inventory > Configuration >  Reordering  Rules.
