I had a similar problem. Check the value of payment_method_id in your request. It is probably wrong.
Because Odoo wants you to pay and tey don't support you, simply.
@JOSEP im trying to import invoices along with payment using third party application. No clue why the error is happening
Are you trying to delete a payment method? It is not possible because it was used in a payment.
You should archive it.
