I downloaded the base_report_writer and installed open office, added the plugin and want to connect to my server to start making my reports. However I get a server connection error every time.

I am using a test account on the cloud based openERP.com site at the moment. Domain: https:// reztest.my.openerp.com I tried different connection protocols and ports 8069 8070 and 8071 all giving me the server connection error. Could someone point me in the direction of how to setup this connection? I was unable to find this through a search function.
